Does the Master-Detail architecture for the iPad require a custom client?
I'm designing an iPad app and need to know whether to implement a master-detail architecture. I've found lots of questions and answers about this on the web, but not a definitive answer.
I'm guessing the answer will be "yes", but I'd like to be sure.

Yes, the master/detail is the default one in UITableView. But, it only presents one detail view.
But, if you want to show many DetailViews at once, you can do like this. It shows 4 DetailViews at a time (The code might be better or worse, depending on what you want to do. Don't copy the code, it was just an example).
